Honors 329 Psychedelic Rhetorics

Honors course designed to engage students with rhetoric and literature related to psychedelic medicines. Centers student-led Socratic discussions on texts including Selections by María Sabina, The Archaic Revival by Terence McKenna, and Psychedelic Justice edited by Labate and Cavnar.

Topic: Psychedelic Rhetorics

First-year composition course designed to engage students with rhetoric on psychedelic medicines. Course is structured around composition readings from Writing Spaces and other journals alongside analysis of various cultural artifacts. Course projects include a digital museum and a manifesto zine.

First-year composition course designed to introduce students to major concepts, topics, and theorists in disability studies. Readings include selections from Beginning with Disability edited by Lennard J. Davis, Disability Rhetoric by Jay Timothy Dolmage, and Crip Spacetime by Margaret Price.
